We’re set for a weekend of sun! Don’t stay inside, get to one of these beer gardens in Cardiff.

Y Mochyn Du, Sophia Close, Cardiff CF11 9HW

Perfectly poised for chillin’ in Bute Park or Sophia Gardens, Y Mochyn Du has benches at the front and a beer garden out the back. It serves lovely food that doesn’t break the bank and stocks all the usual bevs that we love.

The Pen and Wig, 1 Park Grove, Cardiff CF10 3BJ

A student favourite with a sun trap to enjoy the student priced drinks. Looks super cute in the evening as well, as the picture below shows. The food is also delish, so it’s the perfect place to waste a few hours in the sun without breaking the bank.

The Dock, Mermaid Quay, Stuart Street, Cardiff CF10 5BZ

This new Brains joint in Cardiff Bay is just fab. If it’s nippy, grab a table inside and enjoy views over the bay or, if you want to catch the rays, perch on one of their tables outside. It’s not a bad place to take your laptop and get some work done, either.
